  • “Good ol’ Charlie Brown” is the lovable loser in the zig-zag t-shirt—the kid who never gives up (even though he almost never wins). He manages the world’s worst baseball team…yet shows up for every game. He can’t muster the courage to talk to the Little Red-Haired girl…yet keeps hoping. Even though he gets grief from his friends, his kite-eating tree, even his own dog, Charlie Brown remains the stalwart hero.

Lucy says, "It's bad luck to turn away from a 'Beep.'"

Lucy grabs Snoopy's nose and says, "Beep!"

Snoopy thinks, "I didn't know that."

Last Appeared: September 22nd, 2017 / First appearance: September 25th, 1970 Linus stands in the wind. He sucks his thumb and holds his blanket.

Linus' blanket is blown out of his hands.

Linus stands next to the doghouse. The blanket completely covers Snoopy. Snoopy thinks, "I hate to see fall come . . . It gets dark so early . ."

Linus asks, "What would happen if there were a beautiful and highly intelligent child up in heaven waiting to be born, and his or her parents decided that the two children they already had were enough?"

CLOMP! Snoopy stands up straight in the air and catches the ball in his mouth.

Snoopy runs, his cap flying off his head.

CLOMP! He jumps in the air and catches another ball.

CLOMP! Snoopy catches the ball, hanging upside down the air.

Snoopy sits up and thinks, "What do you do?"

Snoopy eats and thinks, "Back to eating!"

Charlie Brown continues, "That last letter you sent to your girl friend at the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm never reached her . . She's not there any more . . ."

Charlie Brown explains, "She's been sold!"

Snoopy screams and runs off the doghouse.

Charlie Brown continues, "I'm calling for a friend of mine . . . He wants to speak to one of your dogs . . No, he doesn't know her name . . Describe her?"

Snoopy holds out his paws and smiles.

Charlie Brown says, "She has very soft paws . . ."

Lucy stands on the slope of the pitcher's mound. She holds out a piece of paper: "Here, Charlie Brown...Sign this petition!"

He yells: "WANTING TO KNOW WHAT YOUR SIGNING IS NOT BEING WISHY-WASHY!" Lucy asks, "Why are you so crabby?"

Schroeder asks, "Has he been rehearsing what he's going to say?"

Charlie Brown replies, "Oh, yes . . . That's all he's been thinking about lately . . ."

Snoopy lies on the doghouse and writes. He thinks, "As long as this is going to be a Fourth of July speech, I think I should slip in a few digs about dogs not being allowed to vote . . We can be drafted into the army, but we can't vote . . ."

Snoopy sits up. He smiles and thinks, "Then I'll tell my latest anti-cat joke . .
Last Appeared: September 20th, 2003 / First appearance: September 25th, 1971 Woodstock runs toward a football.

Woodstock kicks the football, but it doesn't move.

Woodstock stands in front of the football and watches it wobble.

The football falls over and lands on Woodstock.

First appearance: September 25th, 1995 Schroeder walks up to Charlie Brown who stands on the pitcher's mound. Charlie Brown says, "When the catcher comes out to the mound for a conference, it's usually a dramatic moment . ."

Shroeder says, "Beethoven had a blue coat with metal buttons that he liked very much."

Shroeder walks away from Charlie Brown. Charlie Brown says, "But not always."

First appearance: September 25th, 1956 Charlie Brown looks at the reader whiles standing in the field, as Lucy points to her left and asks, "Did you ever notice how the sidewalk comes to a point way down there?"

She continues, "I just took a little stroll down that way to see what it looks like up close.."

She sits on the sidewalks, sighs, and says, "I didn't find out though *sigh*"

Peppermint Patty and Marcie stand in front of Linus. Marcie continues, "In 1978, the average budget for intercollegiate athletics for men was $717,000, but for women it was only $141,000."
