First appearance: December 26th, 1972 Schroeder plays the piano. Lucy leans on the piano. Music notes fill the staff. Lucy turns to Schroeder and smiles. She says, "I just wanted to thank you again for the string of pearls you gave me for Christmas . . ." Schroeder stops playing and says, "I did not give you a string of pearls for Christmas . ." Schroeder tumbles in the air. Lucy shouts, "I'll say you didn't!" Latest appearance: September 13th, 2015 / First appearance: September 15th, 1968 Lucy sits on the floor with beads. Schroeder plays the piano. Lucy approaches with a necklace and says, "Look, Schroeder . . . 'Love' beads!" Lucy puts the necklace on Schroeder and says, "I made them especially for you . . ." Lucy stands in front of Schroeder. She smiles and says, "You look great!" Lucy leans on the piano and stares at Schroeder. I kind of like Schroeder. He’s fairly down to earth, but he has his problems too. He has to play on the painted black piano keys, and he thinks Beethoven was the first President of the United States.
