Linus

  • First appearance: September 19, 1952
  • The benevolent, blanket-clutching philosopher always has a kind word for everybody…even his bossy older sister, Lucy. While he’s often the voice of reason in the neighborhood, Linus also believes firmly in the Great Pumpkin, and he suffers more than most when people (or pumpkins) let him down.

First appearance: March 4th, 1996 Snoopy is wearing an eyepatch and carrying Woodstock on his shoulder. Linus says, "I've always wondered why pirates carried parrots on their shoulders." Snoopy thinks as he walks away, "He likes riding up there . ." Woodstock falls off Snoopy's shoulder and lands on his head. Snoopy thinks, "Unless I stop too quick . ." Linus, my serious side, is the house intellectual, bright, well-informed which, I suppose may contribute to his feelings of insecurity

    Every Halloween night Linus can be found in a pumpkin patch, awaiting the arrival of the Great Pumpkin.

    Linus is known for making some incredible plays on the diamond, including turning two with short-stop Snoopy.

  • His blanket

    The epitome of security, Linus’s blanket also proves to be an excellent sling shot.
