Truffles

When Linus and Snoopy set off on a truffle hunt they fail to find any of the edible fungi, but do succeed in finding a farmhouse, and a girl actually called Truffles. The unusual name was given to her by her grandfather because he thought she was as “rare as a truffle.” Linus and Snoopy both fall for Truffles, but only Snoopy is able to find his way back to her grandfather’s farmhouse. Truffles and Linus do reunite during a school field trip, but Sally, who is jealous that Linus wants to spend time with Truffles instead of her, tosses Linus onto near-by roof and out of the way. Linus never saw Truffles again.
