Joe Agate

FIRST APPEARANCE:

April 7, 1995

If there were such a thing as a professional marbles player, Joe Agate would be one. He is unscrupulous and challenges young, inexperienced marbles players to play for “keeps” so he can build up his own massive marble collection. When he takes advantage of Rerun, the experienced sharpshooter, Charlie Brown, decides to teach the bully a lesson. Rerun and Lucy watch in awe as Charlie “Cool Thumb” Brown steps in and wins back all the marbles, embarrassing Agate and driving him out of town in the process.
