Cormac

a boy with yellow hear sitting and holding a brown lunch bag

FIRST APPEARANCE:

July 17, 1992

In sharp contrast to his earliest trips to summer camp, Charlie Brown eventually achieves a sort of ‘elder statesman’ status and serves as a mentor to young campers like his “swimming buddy,” Cormac. Cormac learns valuable skills from Charlie Brown like floating in an inner tube and how to use a compass. Cormac is self-confident and finds it easy to talk to girls. He plans to be “smooth” when he grows up. This sense of bravado serves him well when he transfers to Sally’s school the next fall and attempts to supplant Linus as her “Sweet Babboo.”
